    Hello,

The plugin only reads jetpack informations.
With “from one day” params, it displays top pots only for a day, not the last 24 hours past.

I cannot do anything because I have no control about jetpack datas.

Ok thanks for replying. It’s just weird that lately this plugin stopped showing any data after 7pm for daily top posts but other plugins that pull from Jetpack show data all the time and don’t go blank. I don’t want to use those other ones, I like this one the best ??

Check your server’s time settings and your WordPress time, there could be a discrepancy between the two. WordPress might be already in a different time zone and the server thinks it isn’t so. I had this problem with another plugin that uses stats from Jetpack.

I also came here to wish two features in the next release:

    – to add an option for thumbnails.
    – the ability to insert the total post views from the Jetpack stats under the post’s content.

I like this plugin better than Top 10 because it uses Jetpack stats which does not place additional load on the server. I have a very busy server 500K-1M hits a day and other plugins will simply place a heavy load since they track their own stats using the local server.

    Thank you!

@tobanatron, if you don’t mind setting both the server time and WordPress time to both UTC +0, that should sync the two. This happens to me too, I had my WordPress and server set at Los Angeles time and it disappears around 5PM and reappears at 12AM. UTC time for Los Angeles is UTC-7 hours. -7 is exactly the number of hours between it disappears and re-appears. So there is definitely a time discrepancy issue here. I think maybe Jetpack is hard configured at UTC +0.

@ben1028 thanks… that is very helpful and is pretty much exactly the same thing that is happening to me. Disappears at 8PM and reappears hours later. i believe my wordpress time is correct but how do i change the server time?

@tobanatron, I forgot that you may be on a shared server, if you are, you may have to contact your hosting company about it. I run my WordPress on my own dedicated server so I have control over it.

I’ve given a clue on how to fix this issue, I hope the author can revise the plugin to account for it.

@ben1028 thanks again. Yeah I’m with Godaddy so I’ll try contacting them. But it would be great if LordPretender could fix on his end as I love this plugin.
