• Im stoked I found this plugin as I’ve been looking for something to do this for a while but after installing, I just see a settings page but I dont see anywhere to actually add the information to the individual taxonomies (which BTW, I only see tags and categories, none of our custom taxonomies). None-the-less, I’d like to try the plugin on our tags but cant seem to figure out what to do after installing. Please advise and thanks in advance.

you don’t actually do anything, after it is installed it begins working behind the scenes automatically. After a few hours your should begin to see descriptions appear on your taxonomy pages automatically.

I see its been four hours since you posted about it. So by the time you respond to me it will be well enough along to have at least autodescribed at least a 1000 or more taxonomies. Let me know if it still hasn’t done your custom ones and I’ll dive into the code and see what I have to do to rectify it.

Ah cool, Im glad I asked because I acutally didnt want to automatically run it across all tags and categories. Is there a way to run it manually trigger it?

well it doesn’t run in such a way as to hog the server it pulls a few at a time. currently there is no way to manually trigger it. however that sounds like an interesting feature to ad. as you are aware or should be, I resurrected the project after realizing Dan Fratean could not be found to support it himself.

btw, if you know of anyone that would like to help with plugin development, I’d be more than willing to add them to this or any of my other projects so that all of my plugins can advance faster.

    Cheers.

yeah, actually looks like it already pulled in many descriptions – which unfortunately I now need to now go into each 1-1 to remove as many aren’t accurate. It would be really cool if you could trigger it or have it do it’s thing, and then have it go into some sort of moderation queue where you have to review and click OK or something, or a way to revert. BTW – doesn’t look like it worked for the custom taxonomies. I would love to have the plugin do several more things like this but I’m not a developer. I could help by donating for your time but that’s about all I could help with ;( I wish I knew how to develop….

Ok, thanks for the feedback, I’ll see what I can do with it, it might take a week or two get a new version out as I am also working on a new version Ribbon Maker as well.
