• Ok, so what I’d like to do is display a bar at the very top of my blogs that shows a link to each of the blogs in my “network”. At the moment I have 3 sites that I would like to display but that may go up if they all thrive as I hope they will.

The tab situation at the top of Gizmodo that lets you view the other Gawker blogs is an example, but It doesn’t even need to be that fancy. I know I can probably hack together a header that will work but I was wondering if anyone has already produced a block of jquery that would work for this kind of thing.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

  • if you just want a link in the navbar to go to the other blogs – use a plugin

    Thanks for your reply.

I do know how to make a page link to a URL, but I want this “above” the header (at the top of the page). I have several page links below in the main NavBar that I’d like to keep as they are.

There’s a plugin out there that puts a twitter tab on the left side of the page and it scrolls with you, something like that one, but at the top of the page. The side would work too I suppose….I don’t need it to scroll with the viewer, but that would be a neat trick.

another example is the top of GigaOm, click on the name of the site and you get choices of other blogs in the network. It doesn’t even have to be this fancy, just something that shows the names accross….
