    Hi there!

I need to edit the “mega menu” its ok in main language but its not possible to edit it in others. When i change the language and press the “mega menu” button on top level menu item, is not allow me it say “Mega menu can only created on top level menu items” but THIS IS a top level menu item…

How i can change this? or How i can copy the exact same styles and positions of the main menu to another languages or what is the correct way to get this to work?

    I hope its clear

    Thank you!

    Hi Anton,

I have not seen this before with WPML so I am not sure why that’s happening. If you have any custom code, please try commenting it out, and also try using a different theme and disabling all plugins to see if you can find what is causing it.

    Please also follow this guide:

    https://www.megamenu.com/documentation/wpml-setup/

If you have used any clone functionality in WPML, it might be better to start with a fresh menu and build it from scratch.

    Thank you for great support!

    Hi Anton,

The place to look is classes/menu-item-manager.class.php, in the get_menu_item_depth function. I think that is probably returning 1 when it should return 0. It is a guess but if you used WPML to create the menu then maybe it has not set up each menu item correctly.

    Regards,
    Tom
