I installed your theme and really like it except for the way the nav menu works. We have child pages to some of our pages. In other themes,, when I click on the parent page,, it would take you to that page. In your theme, clicking on the parent page only pulls out the drop-down menu.

    Can this be changed?

What I would like is to show the child pages when you hover over the parent page.

    Thank you, jim

  • I’m having the same problem, I’ll have to try a different theme if I can’t get this to work :/

I did figure this out. The menu is the type that requires you to click on the top-level menu item. So, what I did was create a custom menu with a top-level menu item with # for the link.

I’m used to menus that dropdown when you hover over the top-level item but maybe others are not.

Custom menu isn’t working… I attached the link properly for the child page, but the parent page won’t go to its correct link.

Yes, with this type of menu, the top-level link does not work. It only functions to pull down the child menu.

Is there a way to make the top level link work?

That would be for the theme developer to help with. It’s not only controlled by CSS but also by a theme function.
