    Hi,

    We installed Mailchimp for WP and Mailchimp Top Bar in the latest version.
    When I activate “Enable Double Opt-In”, it is not working.

    The debug output only shows:

    [2020-02-17 22:10:00] INFO: Top Bar > Successfully subscribed test*@fs****.org
    [2020-02-17 22:16:45] INFO: Top Bar > Successfully subscribed test*@fs****.org

    but the user did not show up in the MailChimp subscriber list. When I disable Double-Opt-In, everything is working.

    I checked the Maillogfile on my Server, there is no attempt to send an email (not sure if the Plugins or Mailchimp would send out the double opt-in confirmation email.

    Hey Frank,

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    Please note that our plugin does not send the “Double Opt-in” email. That email is sent from MailChimp.com. Until a user confirms their email, they will not be displayed in your list/Audience.

    Can you enable “Double Opt-in” again and test using some other email address?
