Top Align Custom Image and Custom Content

    Hi Nick, thanks for creating such useful plugin!

    I’ve used a custom image aligned left and added paragraph styling to my custom content.

    There is no padding-top or margin-top assigned to my paragraph styles, but the image is positioned higher than the text.

    What I’d like to do is have the top of the placed image align with the top of my text (custom content). Please Advise!

    Hi Sri,

    Can you share the content that you entered into the custom content area? Simply copy and paste into a reply comment. I have a hunch there is an error there.

    Hi Sri,

    It looks like you discovered an interesting issue. The plugin automatically applies paragraph tags to the content that is entered into the custom content area. I guess I never assumed the people would want to add multiple paragraphs of text…oops. Anyway, this sort of creates an issue when you are adding your own <p> tags. While not very elegant, the solution is to just remove the first and last tags, i.e.

    The plugin will wrap this in <p> tags and you will be good to go. I will think about a way to make this more intuitive and perhaps build it into a future update.

    Hi Nick,

    Love you work!

    I seem to have a knack for finding ‘interesting issues”. Lucky me ??

    Thanks for figuring out what was going on and coming up with a rather inventive workaround!

    I did pare the back the content to one paragraph which does look better in smallish widget area. However, if I was going to use a single column/page width widget then multi-paragraphs would be more than likely.
