When hovering over an event in month view, tooltipster pops up showing event info.

In Safari, if that event is clicked, then the back button is used, the tooltipster popup is still visible. On some sites it only takes hovering over the popup to dismiss it. Other sites it seems to require hovering over the related link to dismiss it.

Seems if it were dismissed when that link is clicked in addition to existing mouse actions this wouldn’t be an issue.

Again, this only happens with Safari. I’ve dealt with a similar issue before but I’m hoping to find a solution here before I go down that rabbit hole again.

    EDIT: WordPress 5.5.1 TEC 5.2.0
Additional example URLs can be provided from different sites.

    Hi @machouinard

Thanks so much for reaching out! I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue on your site.

I do see the issue occurring, however the tooltip does disappear once you move the page or move your mouse in any way.

I’m not quite sure what can be done here unfortunately, but you can try disabling other plugins that are on that page, (like the category colors) and switching your theme to a default WordPress theme, to see if that makes any difference there.

    I hope that helps!

    Thanks,
    Jaime
