    Hi Nick,

The shortcode is just the basic one: [gcal id=”466″]

I’ve also tried to add the ‘show_tooltips’ option to see if this made any difference: [gcal id=”466″ show_tooltips=”true”] but no such luck.

Actually, I left it like that for now, so the shortcode that is active now is:
    [gcal id=”466″ show_tooltips=”true”]

    Hello Everyone,

I have the issue with the tooltips as well.
I have tried everything described, but the tooltips are still shy and won’t show

    https://fabyandcarlo.com/for-photographers/ (may be #NSFW)

shortcode is [gcal id=”13268″ paging=”true” show_tooltips=”true” display=”grid”], but it is the same with [gcal id=”13268″]

Always Enqueue Scripts & Styles checked…

    Any help very much appreciated!
    Thanks
    Carlo

PS: it has been quite some time that the tooltip is not working BTW, and cannot try with another theme ??

Flooding sorry. Tested with other themes works ??
So it IS the theme… any help on what may cause the hiccupping?

    @nick

    Thank you!

    @nick
Hi there, I’m also having trouble getting the tooltip to work on my website after updating. And the prev month/next month arrows aren’t working either.
    My URL is: https://typeny.com/calendar/

shortcode used on this page: [gcal id=”70″ display=”grid”]

tried adding show_tooltips=”true” but that didn’t seem to make a difference.

    Plugin settings:
unchecked – Always Enqueue Scripts & Styles
    unchecked – Disable Plugin CSS
    checked – Save Settings

    Plugin version 2.2.4
    WP version 4.1.1

Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks!

Anyone still having issues with this one?

Same issue here … on 2.2.5 … I’m switching theme on my site, will let you know if it fails then as well …

Same issue with new theme … no tooltip for the month view … (Won’t list url to dev site publicly)

Thanks for posting this link, Nick:

I added wp_footer() to my footer and that solved the problem.

Was there a significant change of jquery version or something going from 2.1.x to 2.2.x?

I’ve checked that the theme I’m using has the wp_footer() in the footer, but still, the tooltip ain’t showing. I can of course try to get the theme developer to try to figure it out, as the trouble doesn’t show in Twenty Fifteen, but I assume it helps to know where the problem lies …

I’ve tried the JQuery updater plugin and many different things, and I’ve contacted the theme developer, but I’m still no closer to fixing this.

Could anyone tell me why tooltips does not work here and what the theme developer or I have to do/fix?

    …/index.php/gce_feed/test-calendar/

I installed the plugin today and am trying to get it up and running. Followed all the instructions in the setup guide (very helpful – thank you!), but I also cannot get the tooltips to work. I did run through the steps in the Theme & Plugin Conflicts sheet and identified that it seems I have a theme conflict. Great.

My question is… now what? How do I know how to fix the conflict?

I’m using the theme “Oxygen” but I don’t know if it’s the theme itself that’s a conflict or if it’s customization to the CSS that was done before me? I’m at a relatively basic level of expertise with coding, etc. which is a big part of the reason I use WordPress – b/c for the most part I can get the site to do what I want using plugins with minimal intervention required.

I’m just using the following shortcode to display multiple calendars:

    [gcal id=”5154, 5155, 5156, 5157″]
