• Hi,

the shortcode I was using before the update :

    [glossary slug=’example’]

is not working anymore… tooltips are not showing at all ??

I never used the button on the editor since I added all my terms already in the glossary and I then added them with this shortcode in a excel table.

This shortcode was working perfectly before the update, it also worked perfectly with q-translate X and was automatically translating tooltip title in each language (that is why I need to use the slug only and not add any title).

why is this shortcode not working anymore? what can I do to fix this? thank you very much ??

Note : I had to downgrade to 1.6 to make it work again ^^
    Thanks for your hard work!

    hello Doremdou,
For conflits reasons, I had to change the shortcode to another format, and I highly recommand to use the TinyMCE buttons shipped with the plugin to mark up glossary terms.

But I’ve never yet used the WP Glossary qtranslate feature, maybe it was messed up by other new fonctions.

I’ll do a fonction to transform WP Glossary shortcodes into iThoughts Tooltip Glossary terms.

Hi Gerkin, thank you for your answer! ??

I understand that it may be easier to use the buttons in the editor but as I said I can’t add any title for the q-translate X feature to work (or it will only show this title and not translate it).

Is there any way I did not see in 2.0 to not add any title?

    For example I can’t use this :

    [ithoughts_tooltip_glossary-glossary glossary-id=”768″]My Example[/ithoughts_tooltip_glossary-glossary]

Is there any way to use something like this :

    [ithoughts_tooltip_glossary-glossary glossary-slug=”myexample”]

Thanks you and sorry for the trouble

I have to make some checks before answer. I keep you in touch.

Well, I don’t know where is your issue. Personnaly, when I’m on a page into another language, the plugin load the good language for the term, and fall back on my main language, including for the title. Isn’t the behavior intended? Do you mean that you require to explicitly set the language of the tooltip?

I don’t understand the problem….. I’m sorry for loosing your time. Can you maybe give me some concrete example to make it easier to understand?

    Thank you
