Tooltips doesn't disappear on mobile/touch devices

The tooltips appear when you click on the word, but there is no way to make the tooltips disappear. This leaves the tooltip blocking other words while the user continues to read.
I noticed this on an iPad (iOS 8). I assume it happens on any touch screen device.
