tooltip not showing for radio buttons or checkboxes

    Hi – no tooltips are displayed for radio buttons nor checkboxes of a gravity form. Is that intended or a bug? I changed the theme to a standard wordpress theme – but same issue.

    Hi, if tooltip is not showing beside field label (not beside checkbox/radio options), then its a bug. If thats the case, please provide your form link

    Here’s a link to a testform – all entries in the form have a tooltip defined but radio buttons and checkboxes don’t show them.

    Hi @wienermischung I have double checked and I am confirming that this plugin supports tooltip in radio and checkboxes fields too. The issue is specific to your site. I can see that there are <legend> tag used instead of <label> in the checkbox and radio fields of your form. Are you using any other plugin to change the field markup?

    Even after deactivating all plugins expect gravity forms and Tooltip for Gravity Forms and changing the theme from enfold to a standard wordpress twenty twenty theme I’m having the same issue that no tool tips are being displayed.

    And you are right that there’s a legend tag where no tooltips are displayed instead of a label tag where tooltips work fine.

    Any ideas on how to change the tag used?

    hi @wienermischung legend tag is new in latest gravity forms and appears if you are using fieldset…In a word,

    Field labels inside a <fieldset> use <legend> (previously were <label>).
