Hi, I installed your plugin and I need the tooltip to appear in words inside a table, I used HTML table tags (table, td, tr) to create it, is in the “specifications” tab of the link I added to this thread.

Can your plugin show the tooltip on those words?, do I have to do something else to make it work?

I also added the terms in “Additional key terms for this definition” field

    thank you for your help

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • You can use the free version to see if works.
The issue is that our plugin ignore text that is nested in too many html tags to avoid conflicts, so I don’t think that works.
Also the plugin doesn’t work for a single word wrapped inside a HTML tags but need to be a sentence to find and inject tooltips.

Another solution is to disable the post type and wrap the content in the table with the shortcode available in pro version https://docs.codeat.co/glossary/shortcodes/#parse-content-premium

So as example if you want a tooltip on IP67 term as it is alone doesn’t work.

Thank you for your soon response Daniele. I understand.

I switched the order of the tabs and make the “specifications” the first tab and the tooltips are showing up now.

Perfect, it was probably a HTML nested issue that the plugin was ignoring.
    I close the ticket ??
