On mobile devices when glossary keyword is close to screen edge (left or right) your tooltip is displayed outside the visible screen bounds. This makes a tooltip completely useless and unreadable.

Please calculate the tooltip’s margins in the way that it will always be fully displayed to the user. Your competition – CM Tooltip Glossary – does it the correct way.

I released a new version today that include bugfixes for this, as it was already reported from the premium customers and I was able to replicate the issues in their website.

For better context:
- Using FREE version 2.2.3 (latest)
- Customized look of tooltip by CSS
- Disabled link clicking by “pointer-events: none;”
- Only want to use tooltips – on desktop and mobile in the same manner

So for mobile we have a specific integration in the pro version that change the tooltips to an accordion.
Anyway I need a link to the page so I can investigate as there are some edge cases that I am not able to replicate.

So I checked, and we have in pro a JS file that fix those cases of tooltips that are off screen, but is not present in the free version.

We have to see if provided it also in the free version, but in that way your case will be easily fixed.

That would be cool. Please be aware that even on desktop you can still have a case when someone will have keyword nearby the screen edge (not using box layout). So having a mobile tooltip behaving differently is not a good idea. Limiting tooltip position and smart placement (either on left or right side of keyword – depending on which half of screen the keyword is) should always happen.

Tooltip should be completely outside the container of an anchor which triggers it – best if it would be always in the <body>.

This issue is on mobile and not on desktop.
For those cases we have a specific responsive mode on the pro version that change the tooltips UI.

The issue is on both – desktop and mobile – because you are placing the tooltip inside the same container where keyword is.

Hi, the tooltip is placed inside the content as the plugin can’t be executed on the whole page for various technical reasons but only in specific text area.

In this case I see that probably is used a page builder and the tooltip is cut because for css from theme/page builder that create conflicts https://docs.codeat.co/glossary/faq/#do-you-support-visual-composer there is some css hat can fix this cut.

Also, the pro version has a dedicated mobile support that change the behavior has the hover doesn’t exist on mobile.
