• Hello – thanks for the great plugin Jason. It works perfectly in say Chrome and the tooltip footnotes pop up right next to the numbers being hovered over (and also show at the bottom of the page, which is perfect for printing).

In Edge though (a client reported, and I tested in v18 on Windows 10) the tooltips appear further down the page, with the consequence that footnote tooltip #3 is off the bottom of the screen.

Might there be an easy fix for this? Thanks for any advice!

Hi, wondering if anyone was able to look at this? Thanks.

Here’s an example of what I mean – arrow indicates which footnote indicator is being hovered over, and we added the red border to the tooltip.

Happens in multiple versions of Edge or IE it seems, and we’ve disabled almost every other plugin to eliminate conflict. Has anyone else reported this issue? Thanks @yingling017.

Sorry for the delay getting back to you. I missed the initial notifications for it.

I haven’t had this bug reported before. I’ll have to take a look. That’s all going to be controlled by the qTip2 library the plugin is built off of though I’m looking into moving to a different tooltip library as qTip2 has seemingly fallen out of being maintained.
