Tooltip disappeared

*update* the cause is the WordPress 6 update. There was one site that I didn’t update to WP6 – and when I did the tooltip disappeared…. how do I un-update?

I believe you’re referring to the orders list on the WordPress dashboard
(wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=shop_order).

I have checked different WooCommerce versions with WordPress 6.0 and tooltips are indeed no longer being displayed on order status hover.

I was able to reproduce this behaviour as well. As you noted, it seems to be caused by a change in WordPress. I have opened an issue for the WooCommerce developers to review here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/33228 you can follow along on the progress there.
