tool bar is blank

  • I did get to you latest verions, it is blank , no tools at all.
    the previous version worked well, but thinone, not really.

    Also dont understand this “Activate the child-plugin “Toolbar Images Panel” to allow images to be posted and uploaded.”
    what is it please ?

    Go into the plugins list and activate some “child” plugins:

    Toolbar Formatting
    Toolbar Smilies Panel
    Toolbar Images Panel
    Toolbar Video Panel

    FYI: The rationale for making them “child” plugins is this:

    1. I don’t need to use specific option checks to let someone turn on or off the components (such as the allow images; allow video).
    (Having the Toolbar Images Panel plugin activated implies that the site wants to allow images in bbPress replies).

    2. Turning off the defaults would be useful if competitive buttons were preferred, if Joe makes a superior Formatting selection of buttons, then others may prefer that.

    3. Having the defaults as plugins may inspire others to make plugins that extend the toolbar.

    I installed the latest version 0.6.0 but the toolbar disappeared.

    The installed plugin list only has “bbPress Post Toolbar” on the list. I tried deactivate, delete, reinstall but face the same problem.

    Hi, I made some changes that became dependant on bbpress 2.0-RC3’s default theme structure (they only appeared in RC3). So if you’ve got a theme that doesn’t have the hooks in that theme, then the bar won’t show.
