• I have been using this plugin for a few months, but it just seems so much trouble especially after an update. I think I’ll go back to the normal way without AMP until it’s more standardised. Pictures disappear, too many bugs, it’s just too much hassle. I’m sure I’m not alone. It took me days to work out why no images would show and it was because there was a space in the code that I copied from the main AMP website! Good luck with this plugin, but at the moment I spend too many hours trying to get one thing right, then an update and more problems.

    Hi @puntoman

I appreciate your honest reply. We are working hard to deliver a constant user experience to every user.

When I visited your link, there are two problems:

    1. Images not displaying: because you have added display:none properties in the Custom CSS: see https://take.ms/Rnb6f – Your site has a custom css which is not coming from the plugin, that CSS specifically tells the images do hide.

    2. Validation issue: The CSS that you targeted i-amphtml-layout-size-defined .i-amphtml-fill-content is not allowed by AMP. You should not target classes that has CSS i-amphtml- name prefix.

As I mention, I and my team are working very hard to deliver a good user experience. The trouble that you are talking about is not only caused by us.

We would appreciate your co-operation in making things easier for others.

The reason for the CSS classes being changed is because when the plugin was updated, I had grey boxes with no images pointing to a non existant default image in the media library. It was easier to add the CSS code to hide them altogether. That’s when I got totally fed up with AMP. I appreciate your hard work with this plug in, but all I’m saying is it just doesn’t seem ready to use with there being so much confusion and problems using it.

    Hi @puntoman

If you want to use the CSS, I would recommend you to target which does not have the i-amp css.

Now, you are saying that you are facing some issues with the Gallery. Can we try to troubleshoot this and get to the solution instead of being fed up again and again?
