How Do I Customize or Remove The Block Appearing at Top of Pages

    I have recently started working with your theme and am having a problem. On each new page I create, there is what appears to be a black block at the top of each page which centers the page title in it and creates a lot of space above and below the title of the published page.

    I am not sure how to either customize this block per page or remove it. Appreciate your help with this!
