Too much product categories in the menu do not allow Customizer to work

  • Hello dear WordPress team,

    I have such an issue:

    I created a menu for product categories and added a big amount of categories (almost 3000) to this menu. After adding categories and saving the menu, I cannot open the customizer, when I try to open it, i get 504 timeout nginx Error.

    Is it possible to solve this issue, so that I can use the customizer with this amonut of categories in the menu?

    Or should I decrease the amount of categories in the menu? And if I should do that, what is the amount of categories in the menu which will allow to open the customizer? 500,1000?

    I know that WordPress doesnt have “products”, but it is not about products or categories, but about items in menu in general.

    Because when I create 3000 thousand product categories, it doesnt affect any wordpress feature in any possible way. The problems start, when I add them into the menu. Doesnt matter what it is, categories, pages oder individual links. When I add 3000 items to the menu, customizer doesnt work, giving me 504 timeout nginx error.

    Menus are WordPress functionalitys, as I know.
