Too much margin areas, at start of web page and blog title – how to resolve

    Hi, after messing around for a while on Wamp-server at home, I decided I want to post an official blog (self hosted). However I have several issues, am unhappy with – would appreciate some pointers. A screen-shot is available here with areas I want to improve.
    Nos 1 – 6, too much margin between start of web-page and blog & title, need to reduce…where do I tweak that?
    Nos 4 & 5 is actually in the post, feel too much white space between post title,start of paragraph…and next paragraph. Where do I tweak? How?
    7 & 8 – how to avoid hyphens in unhyphenated word?
    No 9….what is the horizontal width of the right hand side (post area), am looking for a suitable background picture to put in there…

    Played around with the CSS and achieved….solution.

    Hi,
    Was wondering how you removed the margin for nos 1 -2. Im having a similar problem and Im really stuck.
