Too much highlighted inside the search result

  • Inside the search result from a search about “day” all words with “day” inside of it are highlighted. Why?

    I expect only complete words are highlighted, since the search does not find the posts with partial found words. For example, if I search for “day” also the words “daylight” will be highlighted with the “day” inside of it. But posts with “daylight” inside the content will not be found.

    Imho this is confusing…

    If you’re using the latest version (4.2.0), Relevanssi should only highlight full words if you’ve chosen to use full words for matching, and partial matches if you’ve enabled partial matches. In earlier versions this does not work correctly. Are you using the latest version?
