Too much empty space – Header – Twenty Eleven Theme

  • I’ve come a long way in a few days trying to get my established blog transferred to wordpress.

    My main goal at this early transfer stage is to get the formatting somewhat similar so it looks the same as what I created my old way.

    In the process of resizing the header image of this theme, adding in my script ad unit at the top center, and deleting the search box from the top of this theme,

      I still can’t get all that empty space between my logo image and the top ad unit to reduce

    . It’s about an inch!

    Any ideas? Here is my testing folder link if that helps. I can also provide my style.css and header.php if that would help.

    By moving the script into the <body> of my header ive gotten the size between image and ad unit down to about 1/4 inch. Not bad, but it still looks padded.
