Too much delay before redirect to thank you page

Hi,
I’ve set up a redirect to a thank you page after form submission. The redirect works, but the time from the inline message inside the form till the redirect is very long. Is there a setting somewhere for a delay before the redirect? Or is the thank you page shown as soon as possible and the delay cuased by the servers used?This is important to me because I use the thank you page for goal tracking in Google Analytics and I fear people close the browser window after the inline confirmation. Also I use the thank you page to display important information.
