Too many admin-ajax.php active on the homepage

  • Hi, I have a problem.
    On the homepage I have 7 active admin-ajax.php which slow down the loading of the page.
    Instead in the articles there are only 2 active admin-ajax.php.
    On the archive page there are no active admin-ajax.php.
    I tried to disable ALL plugins but the problem is not solved.
    What could be the problem?

  • It’s impossible to say without seeing a link, but if disabling plugins doesn’t help then it sounds like your theme uses AJAX a lot on the homepage. You’ll either need to ask the theme author for help, or post a link here so that someone can look at your site and see exactly where the AJAX requests are coming from.
