Too many Varnish Messages

On some sites, when updating a single post VCaching shows too many Trying to purge URL messages. With too many I mean over 1000, especially when using a cluster of varnish caches.
This is good for debugging, but it confuses users.
An option to limit the Varnish messages would be great.
Just display Trying to purge…. done.
