Too many tweets

I set the interval in 8 hours, start the share and the plugin share the first twitt. But in the countdown is set that the next twitt is in less of 2 minutes!
The clock says: Now is: Thu, 07 May 2015 07:12:18 GMT
But in the configuration of muy WordPress I have a UTC +2 hours and my real time is Now is: Thu, 07 May 2015 09:12:18 GMT. It is the problem?

same problem. In a few days, the plugin published 12 and 24 tweets in a single session. Set up at one post in 24 hours. Unfortunately, this plugin is getting useless, at least for me…

Regarding the problem with multiple tweets in a single session, you usually get this on websites with large amount of traffic and big number of posts in the database. The solutions to this problem is related in the FAQ of the plugin:
* enable Remote Check
* add this line to your wp-config.php right after the lines with database credentials:
define(‘DISABLE_WP_CRON’, true);
