Too many repetitive pop ups !!

  • Too many annoying popups showing up everywhere, even by clicking whereever they want you to click, the pop ups are still showing in the back offiche on every page loading. They indirectly tell you, buy our premium version or we will continue hasseling you.

    It sounds like your site is having an error. Our notices are dismissible and they will only show once, and never again for 12 weeks after being dismissed. I can help you debug that though. Can you click the dismiss button then check the browser console for errors (probably better to open the console first)?

    We are having a Black Friday sale like everyone else is this week, so we have a single notice to show on dashboard only (not every page) to users that have used the plugin for 2 weeks, which I don’t feel excessive.

    But if you can’t dismiss it, I feel your frustration. Let’s debug this issue?

    This is not the only website where I have the same problem with this plugin. sorry, your way of forcing the people to use your premiun version is inappropriate. Hopefully I’m not the only user who is sufferring from this.

    It’s very likely you are, unfortunately. Otherwise this forum would be full of messages of people rightfully upset. If we forced it like that we would be violating WP guidelines as well. It’s not something we would do.

    (I just tested the dismissing on my dev site it it works perfectly for me too)

    It could be that the conflicting code is on all of your sites. If you would like help debugging, I can definitely walk through it with you. Should be easy to identify by checking the browser console.

    If you’ve already invested the time in using MetaSlider on all your sites, then it’s probably worth debugging this. I’ll be around the rest of the day so when you’re ready let me know.

    It’s been a few days so I just wanted to follow up on this and see if I can resolve this issue. I’d prefer everyone using MetaSlider to have a working web site, whether that means fixing bugs in MetaSlider specifically, or just generally helping out our users with issues they encounter.

    You make me smile… I spoke to other people about this, they said that they finished by uninstalling this plugin because of the same issue. One of them said that his message was deleted from this forum.

    It’s been a few days so I just wanted to follow up on this and see if I can resolve this issue

    No thank you, I had to uninstall it from 3 websites, all the popups were harassing me.
