When I create a Pop-up, everything works fine. If I try to create a Slide-in, the first display is OK, then after some time my entire Site is also locked (TOO MANY REDIRECTION error – wrong page error). Not possible to access Dashboard, etc.
SO I have to rename \Plugin folder to deactivate all the plugins and then I have access to Dashboard again. Then I disable the slide-in and everything is OK again.

So it seems there is a problem related to Slide-in. I tried several kind of trigger (timing, exit intent …), but the problem is always the same: first displays OK then stuck and no access to any page possible (TOO MANY REDIRECTION error or wrong page error)
I need to disable plugins by FTP.

So for the moment I can’t use Slide-in.

    Used with elementor, oceanwp.

Could you fix this bug ?

    Hello,
I made some investigation and I think that I have some info that could help you.
In fact when the issue occurs, I just have to remove the History in Browser, just the Cookies part and all is OK again until I display again the slide-in.
I made the test on several Laptop/PC and it’s the same.

Everything seems OK with pop-up. So what is the difference ?

Can you find the root cause and fix ?

    Thanks in advance.
    Regards.

    Hello @regardextreme

    I hope you’re doing well!

This is a strange issue that you have and I can’t replicate in n my end. It looks like it is specific to your set up.

Please assign the Slide In to be shown on a certain page and share a link with us so e could have a closer look. To Assign a page to be shown on a certain page, please edit it and open Visibility tab. Add conditions Post and Pages. Set under Post Only these posts option, without assigning any post. And under Pages, select Only these pages and add the only page where slide-in will be shown.
    Please see this screenshot:

Also please export the Slide-in and share a download link with us so we could check it on our end.

To export the slide-in please go to Hustle > Slide-ins > click on settings icon > Export. Please see this screenshot:

Upload the export file to Google Drive or a Dropbox and share a link in your reply.

    Looking forward to your reply!

    Kind regards,

    Hello,

    I created a Test page for you : https://www.regardextreme.net/test/
The slide-in should appear when “Exit Intend”.

    Step 1: Display Test page
Step 2: Try to exit by moving mouse
Step 3: when slide-in is displayed, close it and try to refresh the page.
Step 4 : If Page is OK try again step 2

For you information I tried with several kinds of Slides and the problems always occured (sometime after more slide display for some slides).

I tried to generate a log but couldn’t. However I activated the necessary fields in wp-config and Hutlle …

    Hello @regardextreme

I tested your website a couple of times, but even though I keep refreshing the page I don’t get any errors at all.

I also checked your slide-in settings and tried to replicate in a clean testing site of mine, again with no avail though. :/

You’ve mentioned that you’ve tested that in different machines.
Is there a pattern in the browsers that you use?
Have you tried as non logged-in user in a clean browser (incognito mode) without any browser extensions enabled?
    Please advise!

    Thank you,
    Dimitris

    Hello,
OK. When I am not logged everything seems OK. So the problem seems to occur only when I am logged….

    Hello @regardextreme

    I hope you’re well today!

I’ve also tested your slide-in as well as other one created by me and I admit I couldn’t replicate the issue either. I’m thinking that this might be in some way related to the specifics of the site.

Have you tried to test the site for conflicts? If not, could you try it?

    – disable all the plugins (temporarily) except Hustle
    – switch to Twenty Twenty theme
    – clear all possible caches

    – see if the issue still happens and if it doesn’t
    – switch back to your original theme and check again
    – if still fine, start enabling plugins back one-by-one after each one checking for the issue; the last enabled one would be most likely culprit here and knowing about it should help with further action to fix that.

Could you test that, please, and let us know about results here?

    Best regards,
    Adam
