I’ve already search the other threads about this topic and none have helped. My problem is a little different from the ones I’ve seen. My site works fine. I can login with no problem. I have ( 2 ) pages that will not load up. One of them is called:
    https://newspoliticssports.com/contactus and the other is
    https://newspoliticssports.com/comments
When I try to load them I get this message:
    The page isn’t redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.
I don’t think it’s a cookie problem. Yes, I have tried other browsers and cleared the caches. Any suggestions?

    Hi,

It seems you might no have the mod_rewrite function enabled on your site, have you ensured this is enabled and then tested? (After enabling this you will need to restart the webserver process)

    Hi Marius,
I’m not even sure what a mod_rewrite function is or where to locate it. Thank you for offering your assistance but, I found the problem. I am using the WordPress SEO plugin. I had the setting for permalinks to:
(Strip the category base (usually /category/) from the category URL.

We suggest using FV Top Level Categories, if you insist on keeping this but do know that the feature is very error prone and not that important for your SEO.) Since I’m running with category pages it caused an error in certain pages once I uncheck the setting all my pages now work.
