Too many records in wp_popularpostssummary?

Well, you can:

• Limit the amount of records WPP stores on your database (something you’re already doing.)
• Have WPP store only a subset of your traffic via Data Sampling.
• Have WPP cache your page views so it batch updates the views count of your posts/pages instead of storing each page view individually.
