    Hello,

Since the last 2 recent updates, it seems Jetpack is generating too many connections to db at the same time everyday (around 7.45 UTC).
We disconnected JetPack and the issue disappeared.
We hope you can assist us checking and fixing the issue.
    About our infrastructures :
    – WordPress last version
    – Jetpack last version
    – Database on AWS RDS
    – Site on EC2
    – Static on S3 + Cloudfront (managed by w3Cache)
    – Cloudfront for the whole site.

Hi, while this may be caused by another issue, right now I’m having trouble with the Jetpack connection to your site. Could you disconnect and reconnect that, then update us here?

    Hi,
Thank you for the prompt reply.
Reconnecting Jetpack broke the site again (too many connections to the RDS database).
We are going to clone our production environment to a testing environment so we can investigate the JetPack issue.
We will get back to you to investigate this (once the test environment is up). We will grant access if needed

    Thanks for that.

Since you’re using Cloudflare, you’ll want to disable Site Accelerator to see if that helps. It could also be some conflict with another plugin.

If the issue continues, would you be willing to disable one module at a time to try to narrow down the cause?

Thanks for that. We will test it and keep you posted.

    Cheers
