HI. I’m a new marketplace gone live for 3 months, a lot of work has been trial and error and I ended up with 3 product catalogs. I think I need keep the one that’s currently active, and good, and delete the unnecessary ones. Because,

    I’m facing issues with:
    i) products getting duplicated with same product info (some with group ID, some with single ID, some with variant ID)
ii) products duplicated with different (eg. 1 showing normal price, 1 showing sale price) info
iii) product images not getting pulled into catalog and therefore not showing up in the shop

Could you please advise? Thank you!

    Hi @joyceteh !

Yikes! I can definitely see why you’d want to get those deleted from your Facebook Shop and you are right, you do want to delete the extra ones since having extra catalogs in Facebook causes all those problems you mentioned above.

To delete those extra catalogs you’ll want to navigate to your Catalog Manager in Facebook in order to access the list of catalogs.

There you’ll be able to tell which ones to delete based on their naming conventions:

The naming convention of the catalog is usually a good giveaway (though they can be renamed!). By default, if the shop was set up from Facebook, it will have the name “Products for <shopname>“. When a catalog is created through the plugin, this creates its own catalog with the name “<shopname> – WooCommerce” where our plugin will sync products.

Once you know which ones you need to delete, you’ll want to follow these two steps to get everything back on track:

    1. Delete the extra catalogs
    2. Remove existing plugin settings:

The easiest way to do that is to run through the setup wizard again which will connect the shop page and sync products.

You can find all this information in the Facebook for WooCommerce documentation here

I hope that helps get your extra catalog situation figured out. Please let us know if you have any trouble deleting your extra catalogs or reconnecting to Facebook.

    Hey?@joyceteh,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can reopen it again if you need be.
