Too complex

  • I got about three steps in before I gave up. FAR too complicated and FAR too vague in the process. 99% of people who publish using WP will not be able to complete even half of the set up, which you need to do multiple times for Web, then Android, then iOS… It’s a nice idea, but like a lot of good tech developments it’s assumed you’re a coder or developer from the start and it’s going to take about 5 more years for things to be standardized and for something like this to be accessible to those without a current IT degree.

    This works “out of the box” for android and desktop. iOS devices don’t support web push yet, but this appears to be coming in with Safari 16.
