• This is an updated review. Now that my issues are resolved, I am pleased with the plugin to support my business.

    My original 2-star review was based on the plugin only working on part of my website. If you are hosted with WP Engine, you need to contact their support team in order to make a few changes. They told me “TranslatePress’s methodology is in conflict with one of the performance protections we have on our sites – and what WP Engine does is cut off very long database queries, because they’re more often than not very slow and intensive on the server resources.” This does not mean that anything is wrong with TranslatePress, only that updates need to be made from WP Engine in order to get everything working properly.

    Now that this problem is resolved, I am able to begin translating existing blog posts. Everything is working as expected.

    It is not in our interest that our customers have a bad experience with the plugin or with the support.

    We normally respond to tickets as quickly and concisely as possible.
    Unfortunately, lately we have been very crowded and we have not been able to respond to everyone as quickly as we would have liked.
    However, this does not change the fact that you have a problem with our plugin and you have not received support from us effectively. – I apologize for that

    If you want to give the plugin a second chance and to work together to solve the issue. I’m sure we’ll get to the bottom of this together.

    I hope that in the future, the plugin and the support team will change your opinion about the plugin.
