Too bad the missed chance – XML-RPC

  • So I thought I’d give Jepack a social chance and at least appreciate that they finally provide individual functions independently from the juggernaut Jetpack. Unfortunately, Jetpack social sticks to the woefully outdated XML-RPC and simply doesn’t work without it. So again it didn’t disappoint and nothing changes. Maybe that will change over time with one star reviews.

    I am sorry to hear about your experience with Jetpack Social related to the use of the XML-RPC endpoint as a communication protocol.

    Is there any reason why you are unwilling to use it because of the XML-RPC endpoint? If you follow the security recommendations, it is still safe to use it as a protocol:
