I am seeing tons of these requests in my server logs:

    /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=tribe_process_async_process_support_test&nonce=9d117ee9a

There were 97 of these requests within a three minute stretch just now, all with the same nonce. This is on a multi-site network, where we’ve had some significant issues with the site churning through CPU power (it was on a server with 3 CPU cores) and causing downtime, even though it receives relatively little traffic.

    So two questions:

    • Is it expected to have this many tribe_process_async_process_support_test ajax requests?
    • Is there any way I can dial this down so the load on the server decreases?

    Cheers,
    Eric

p.s. I have both Event Tickets & The Events Calendar installed on this multi-site, so this AJAX request could be coming from one or both of them.

Hi Eric … we’re really sorry about this. It is a known issue however and we hope to release a fix for this in the near future.

As soon as that has happened, we will do our best to pop back in here and let you know ??

    Hi @ericdaams!

Just wanted to share with you that a new release of our plugins is out, including a fix for this issue ??

Find out more about this release → https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-for-the-week-of-3-december-2018/

We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience while we worked on this.

As always, we suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can make all plugin updates without disrupting the live site.

Please update the plugin and let us know if the fix works for your site.

    Best,
    Victor
