    Is there any way to opt out of the scheduled/delayed publication function? My blog is essentially event announcements. And I want to publish announcements with a date (future), i.e. so that the post date is actually the date of the event. But because the date is in the future, the post is automatically delayed.

    Please advise a solution. Maybe a code or a plugin?
