I just purchased a token to generate a video sitemap. In the setting, I pasted the token and then went to generate the sitemap. I’m receiving the following message

“The validation of your token failed. The token is invalid or has expired. Please try it again or contact me if the token should be valid.”

I just purchased this few hours ago.

    Hi @yaskar93

I have sent you a new token by email.

The problem was that the purchase form expects you to enter just the domain, for example www.example.com, but you have entered https://www.example.com/ and so the validation failed. Because many users had the same problem in the past, the https:// is automatically removed during the token validation, but in your case, the final slash did make it fail anyways.

I will change the validation algorithm to also remove the slash in the future and thus make it more robust, but to fix this quickly you have to replace the token in the settings. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Best regards

    Hi Marco,

Yara here again. I’m noticing whenever I need to generate a new sitemap I need a new token. I keep getting an error the the token has failed. Are you able to send me a new token please?

    Hi Yara

Of course, can you send me a short mail to [email protected] so that I have your email address?

I cannot find our old email conversation and thus don’t know the URL of your website…

    Best regards
    Marco
