    Hi Team,
Why you don’t convert heading to ID in Table of Contents (TOC)?
For example: “This is Heading”, you can convert it to #this-is-heading instead of #kt-adv-heading_a33b54-c8

The advanced heading block assigns an ID for styling if you don’t you can add your own ID in the block settings. The TOC block doesn’t add an ID if one is already added.

Thank you Ben, but my question is why you don’t automatic assign pretty ID same as #this-is-heading instead of #kt-adv-heading_a33b54-c8

I think it’s good for SEO and User Experience

    Hey,
If you are using the heading for an anchor I suggest assigning a custom ID. Most headings are not an anchor and so would not have any effect on the user or the site they are just a unique reference for SEO purposes. At this time I don’t have plans to auto assign a pretty ID. It’s more complex then what I believe you are thinking.

And again it’s important to note the TOC block only assigns on load if the ID is not already assigned. In most situations, the ID should be assigned and confirmed unique by you if you want it to be an anchor.
