Toggle Nested Comments

Hi everyone, can anyone help me with getting my nested comments hidden with a toggle? After many replies to comments the page gets very long. It would be ideal to have the threads hidden unless a user wants to specifically view them. I’ve found a couple of posts online about this, but nothing that I can understand well enough to try to implement myself. Any help would be appreciated.

w3schools has a good tutorial on creating accordions.

In the example they should how to create multiple accordions but you only need one that contains your comment section.

Thank you for the suggestion, but I do not want to collapse all of the comments, just the nested comments. I’ve had no luck.
