• Toggle mode works fine on an individual page, but when that page is added to our main page (theme is Twenty Seventeen) it reverts to simple mode with all questions and answers displayed.

It does this whether I use double quotes, single quotes, or no quotes at all.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Got the same issue, in another thread I read that you should remove the quotation marks. Doesn’t work for me unfortunately…

    Hello @enoch52,

I am going to replicate the issue on my end and will get back to you with a solution.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

I have tried to replicate the issue but couldn’t. The FAQs are all looking fine even when the page is set as frontpage.

It looks like the Javascript code is not even included on the home page of your website which is https://join.jdiva.org/

Do you have any cache plugin installed?

    Please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Usman

What javascript code do I need to include? I had thought (perhaps incorrectly) that
“[faqs style=toggle]” was all I needed to include on a page for the FAQ to show up in accordian style.

Thank you very much for your help!

I think I may see what you’re talking about, and this may be a question for the theme designer. The main page incorporates other pages into it, and I have a subpage (called Frequently Asked Questions) that has [faqs style=toggle] in it. It works fine on that page, but it looks like (viewing the source code while logged out of WordPress) the main page is just retrieving the content.

I’ve confirmed that’s the problem: I moved the FAQ code to the main page (rather than the pulled-in pages) and the accordion works just fine.

If you happen to have a solution, great (though it doesn’t appear to be a problem with the FAQ, but rather the theme), but I can work around this.

Thank you for making a wonderful plugin, as well as for your attention!
