    Hello

Can someone help me with my problem. On site [ redundant link removed ] when I use my mobile device or on desktop with small browser window, the hamburger menu does not work. So I cloned the site using WP Staging PRO. I disabled one plugin at a time and found that disable-ing Elementor resolved the issue. However, I created my site using Elementor for it’s feature with Astra theme.

So can someone help or give advice as how I would resolved the hamburger menu?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hi,

To troubleshoot the issue please try this guideline:
Make sure you are using the most updated versions of Elementor, WordPress & your theme. Sometimes it isn’t apparent that there is an update available. Go to Dashboard > Updates and click the Check Again button to be sure. (Make sure to back up your site).

Regenerate the CSS via Elementor > Tools > Regenerate CSS on your WordPress Dashboard.
Go to Elementor > Settings on your WordPress dashboard. Click the Advanced tab and then switch the CSS print method to Internal embedding.
Clear all cache: your browser’s cache, other plugins’ cache, server cache (if possible).

If the issue persists, deactivate all plugins apart from Elementor. If this helps, reactivate them one by one to find the culprit.
If it didn’t help, switch your theme (temporarily) to a default WordPress theme such as Twenty Sixteen and see if it makes any difference.

From your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Elementor > Settings > Experiments. Change all of the experiments to Inactive. Click Save Changes.

Thanks! Found the cause. It’s two of my plugins.

NOTE: Problem solved with changing font family name, it helps if somebody needed.

    Dear All,

Same issue I have, My toggle menu not shown on some of pages. I tried to do above solutions but did not work.

When I deactivate the Elementor, it starts working.

Could you please give more informations if possible?

I am having a similar problem with a new WordPress install using Elementor and the Hello theme. Everything looks good on desktop, but the mobile toggle menu does not expand child menus. Switching to other themes (such as Twenty Twenty) cures the mobile navigation menu problem.

When I go into the theme default kit additional settings, I make “Hello Theme Header & Footer” inactive and the navigation menu responds normally on mobile devices.

I should have listed the plugins that were causing the problem. It’s been a while so I cannot remembered; however, deactivate one plugin at a time and test it. If it doesn’t affect then activate it, you will find what is causing it.

Interestingly, there are NO plugins installed. This is on a clean WordPress install using only the Elementor plugin and the default Hello theme: https://testbed.hotbed.a2hosted.com/

I reported this as a bug, but after eight days they closed it saying the navigation drop-down worked just fine in mobile… yet I have not found a phone yet that it works on.

I had just tested your url above on my Samsung S23 and the hamburger menu does not work. I can only see the “home” button. I cannot or it does not show the other dropdown menu. When I shrink my desktop screen to mimic cellphone screen, even with the mouse, it still does not allow me to click on the other two menu items. I also believe it will not display on iPad because the menu went off the screen. I think you what you can do to resolve this is move “about” & “Service” to it’s own nav instead of underneath “home” – it’s too many dropdown. Once you move “Service” to its own, your dropdown menu should work.

Your experience matches my own results from multiple phones, as well as mobile development mode.

This is merely a test website to demonstrate that the dropdown menu is broken. It’s obvious Elementor simply does not care, but I made it so simple for them to see the problem and they still claimed all is well.

I am not sure what else to do, as I merely want the Elementor mobile menu to toggle like every other menu system does from other themes. ??

I am having the same problem here since the last update

Ok so it’s Litespeed cache plugin which caused that problem on my side

    Thanks for the follow-up, @romain22.

I previously disabled Litespeed, but it didn’t seem to resolve the issue. Perhaps it’s worth trying again, since there have been updates.

I’m experiencing the same issue as @das-capitolin described.

I’ve just installed Elementor, WordPress, Metforms, and ElementorKit and I’ve disabled one by one but the three line menu on mobile version is not responsive.

my Hello Theme Header & Footer was already “Inactive.”

Do share any other ideas – the hamburger toggle menu is non-responsive on mobile/tablet no matter what I do.

The Elementor team absolutely does not care, and will not support their broken plugin, @aabimangi.

here’s are something you want to try while waiting for Elementor Team to respond. Deactivate your plugins. then reactivate one at a time and test the menu. Sometime it’s not Elementor but your other plugins that causes it not to work.
