Toggle alphabetical and chronological?

  • Is it possible to have a link that would toggle between alphabetical and chronological sorting?
    So that if a user knows the title of an article they could switch to alphabetical sorting, and then switch back to chronological later on.

    Does that make sense? I’ve been searching around and haven’t found anything, but I can’t be the only one who wants this functionality.

  • ?orderby=title&order=ASC

    Having that at the end of ones url sorts posts by title ASCending (a-z). Other options:

    order=DESC

    orderby=date
    orderby=modified (since 2.0)
    orderby=author
