How to: TOC show up on sidebar but not in contents

    Hi there,

    May I know how to configure such that the TOC only shows up on the sidebar on the right and not in the contents? The link I provided above has been able to do it. For my site, I have only been able to get the TOC to show on both the contents and sidebar.

    The page you linked — I only see the TOC in the sidebar, not the post contents…

    Apologies for not being clearer but the page I linked was what I wanted to achieve.

    Attached is the link of my current site: link.

    I want to have the TOC in the side bar only and not in the post contents.

    can you please let me know how to do it?

    Navigate to the Table of Contents Settings admin page and disable the auto insert option.

    Many thanks for the quick reply.

    I have tried doing so, but doing this meant that the TOC on the sidebar also disappears.

    Attached are screenshots of my configuration on the TOC admin page and the widget page (controlling my sidebar).

    Please edit the page where the TOC is showing in the content. Scroll down to the TOC settings and disabled the Insert option.

    Thank you for your help. But doing the above removes the TOC from both the contents and the sidebar. Is this an issue with my theme? If so I could try following up with them.

    The widget is present in the sidebar, please navigate to the Table if Contents settings admin page and disable the option to initially hide the TOC option. Either the theme is removing the widget title where the display toggle would exist or maybe the widget title is blank.
