    Hi there,

When I view the page that I’ve added the [toc]code to, I cannot see the TOC. However, if I’m logged in and I view the page, I can see it just fine. Really confused. I have cleared my browser cache, triple checked the TOC+ settings, installed/uninstalled 2 WP cache plugins, and checked the site on different browsers and I still can’t see the update real time.

Any suggestions? I really want to use this plugin, but if it can’t be fixed, I’ll have to find another.

Thanks for your help, and I really do like how easy your plugin/sitemap configuration is.

  • Does it work as expected when you disable all caching plugins? When I was running WP Super Cache, I would always disable the cache for logged in users but the plugin was smart enough to refresh the cache should the content change and changes would be displayed to public users fine.

Do you have any caching enabled in your webserver? How about a CDN or Cloudflare?

    Got a link?

    Hi Michael,

    Thanks for the quick reply.

Nope, it didn’t work when I deactivated the plugins–so I removed them completely. Not sure if caching is enabled in my webserver. I don’t have Cloud Flare for this site. I tried to manually find the wp-cache folder on my server in order to delete the contents, but I couldn’t find the folder anywhere.

Okay, this is weird, I just checked the direct link to the page–https://uniquecontentwriter.360nourishment.com/services–and the table shows up. However, when I check the services tab on the homepage–https://uniquecontentwriter.360nourishment.com–I don’t see the table.

    Weird.

On a side note, the chart looks pretty blurry, is there an option in the TOC+ settings to correct this?

Thanks for all your help so far.

Try enable the option to run on the homepage. It’s in TOC+ > Settings in the advanced section.

Also, your theme is adding some shadow to the text so disable it and it’ll be legible again.

    .toc_list a { text-shadow: none; }

    Hi,

I enabled the option to run on the homepage and it worked–now the TOC shows on the homepage.

Regarding the php code to get rid of the shadow, which TOC+ plugin php file should I add it to?

It wasn’t PHP code but CSS so put it into one of your themes CSS files. Style.css should work.

    Hi,

I do see the difference. I had to clear my cache.

Thanks for all your help Michael!
