ToC not displaying on category archive …

    The TOC will not display on the archive or search results pages. It will only display on single posts or pages.

    Sorry, no. The category archives and search results pages are pages of pages/posts. The TOC can only be created for a single page/post. Generating a TOC for each page/post on those pages will be very resource-intensive and will likely cause a negative page load experience for users.

    That’s a shame – thought one might be able to display TOC on qualifying items in a specific category like the homepage blog option. Best wishes.
