Hi, I′m just starting a new blog and love this plug-in. I don′t have any problem with it.

In fact the origin of my topic is that I think is terrific for another thing that I would like to include in my blog: a list of upcoming streaming dates.

Nothing needs to be changed because I can use it as it is right now to list the streamings. Everything is the same that for the gigs, but my question is: Can I have installed a second instante of the plugin? Or create a second database only for these webcast? or can you just recreate gigpress with different name “streampress” by example to act as a different plugin totally compatible with gigpress?

    Thanks for this fantastic plugin.
    Txomin

PS. As I said I like it as it is right now, but the same that you have considered the Tours it will be interesting to considere the Festivals. It can′t be managed the same way because the Tour is multiple venues for the same artist and the Festival is multiple artists for the same venue.

Also something that drove me crazy when checking the options the first day is that the plugin allow to list past, today, upcoming, all. For upcoming your option is to select the number of shows to be listed and I was triying to figure out how to list in the widget not a number of shows but a time period: upcoming shows in the “next 10 days”, or “this week” by example. I was unable to find a way to do that.

    Interesting question!

It’s not currently possible to have two separate instances of the plugin; but you could certainly install it on two different sites within the same multisite network.

In relation to specifying a time period rather than a raw number of events, there are actually some options for this. Example:

    [gigpress_shows month="current"]

However, it doesn’t really get any more atomic than that and you cannot similarly request the current week.

    Hey there,

Since this thread has been inactive for a while, I’m going to go ahead and mark it as resolved. Don’t hesitate to create a new thread any time you help again!

    Ed ??
