To get an OAuth, what is the App Name and URL?

    Hi there

    Maybe dumb question as no-one else appears to have a problem with this, but here goes…

    I have looked at both your instructions and the Eventbrite instructions(linked) but am at a loss. I have no existing “App” to get an OAuth from, but am just presented with a form when clicking to create a new App that requires the following –

    “Apllication URL” and “Application Name”

    I cannot find any reference to what I should put in these fields to create an App that will generate me an OAuth. Any enlightenment to aid my foggy progress much appreciated…!

    Hi @a-day ,

    That’s fine, we are here to help you. YOu can give app test name and your website URL to get Personal Oauth.

    Here is sort guide for creating app.

    Hope this helps.

    Just a note – is it just me and this obvious to everyone else? It really stumped me for a while! If I am not the only stumpee then maybe just put a note like your helpful reply on your guide page to help other strugglers… ??
