    Hello,
    what is the use of “The option to detect and block attemtps to gain administrative privileges can now be turned off from the admin dashboard. See “Firewall Policies > Basic Policies > General > Block attempts to gain administrative privileges”. default this option is on in new update 4.6

    This option already existed in previous versions too, but it was only possible to disable its email notification from the “Event Notifications” page. Some users have asked to have an option to disable this policy, so now since v4.6, it can be done from the “Firewall Policies” page.

    When it is enabled, only an administrator can give administrator privileges to another account. For example, if there were a vulnerability in your blog allowing a subscriber to upgrade their account to administrator, the firewall would block it.
